San Martino delle Scale, 23 November 2025 – The award ceremony of the 2nd Edition of the San Martino Prize, promoted by the National Infantry Association, took place in the Throne Hall of the Abbey. This year, the Prize was awarded to the Community of Sant’Egidio for its dedication to the marginalized, its promotion of interreligious dialogue, and its solidarity projects; to the Mission of Hope and Charity founded by Brother Biagio Conte and now led by Don Pino Vitrano; and to the Constantinian Order which, through the project “Briciole di Salute,” supports children in need. The Prize for the Order was presented to the Grand Prefect.
Palermo, 30 November 2025 – On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the magazine “La Nuova Fenice,” a luncheon was held at the Hotel San Paolo Palace. The patroness of the evening was H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect. Hosting the event was the Vice Delegate of Sicily, Noble Antonio di Janni, Knight Grand Cross of Grace, founder and creator of the magazine, who presented attendees with a commemorative medal.
Monreale, 28 October 2025 – The customary donation of supplies for children in need by the Sicilian Delegation took place at the Church of Saint Anthony Abbot. The supplies were delivered by Sonia Lo Monaco and Antonella Zito.
Palermo, 8 October 2025 – As part of the “Briciole di Salute” project, the Sicilian Delegation donated one quintal of pasta to the Church of Kalsa for Caritas. The donation was presented to Rev. Don Giuseppe di Giovanni, Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace, by Commander Gasperino Como.
Palermo, 12 October 2025 – The 20th concert season organized by the Sicilian Delegation was inaugurated at the Basilica of the Magione, under the artistic direction of Knight of Merit Prof. Alberto Giacchino. At the end of the concert, the parish priest of the Magione, Don Massimiliano Purpura, Knight of Ecclesiastical Grace, together with the Vice Delegate of Sicily, Noble Knight Grand Cross Antonio di Janni, presented awards to the musicians.
