San Martino delle Scale, November 23rd, 2025 – The awards ceremony for the 2nd Edition of the San Martino Prize, promoted by the National Infantryman’s Association, took place in the Abbey Throne Room. This year’s Award went to the Community of Sant’Egidio for its dedication to the marginalized, the promotion of interreligious dialogue, and the implementation of solidarity projects; to Brother Biagio Conte’s “Mission of Hope and Charity”, carried out today by Father Pino Vitrano; and to the Constantinian Order, which, with its “Briciole di salute” project, helps children in need. The Award to the Order was presented to the Grand Prefect.
Palermo, November 30th, 2025 – On the occasion of the magazine’s 30th anniversary “La Nuova Fenice”, a lunch took place at the Hotel San Paolo Palace. The Godmother of the evening was H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two-Sicilies, Grand Prefect. The Vice Delegate of Sicily, Noble Antonio di Janni, Knight Grand Cross of Grace, creator and founder of the magazine, hosted the event and paid homage to those present with a commemorative medal.
Monreale, October 28th, 2025– The usual donation of the supplies for children in need by the Delegation of Sicily took place in the church of San Antonio Abate. The supplies have been delivered by the Benemerite Sonia Lo Monaco e Antonella Zito.
Palermo, October 8th, 2025 – The Delegation of Sicily, as part of the “Briciole di Salute” project, donated 1 quintal of pasta to the Church of the Kalsa for Caritas. The donation was presented to the Rev. Don Giuseppe di Giovanni, Knight of Ecclesiastical Grace, by Commander Gasperino Como.
Palermo, October 12th, 2025 – The 20th concert season organized by the Delegation of Sicily, whose artistic director is Knight of Merit Professor Alberto Giacchino, was inaugurated at the Basilica della Magione.
The parish priest of the Magione, Don Massimiliano Purpura, Knight of Ecclesiastical Grace, together with the Vice Delegate of Sicily, Noble Knight Grand Cross Antonio di Janni, awarded the musicians at the end of the concert.
