Rome, May 12, 2026 – The award ceremony of the Diploma of promotion to Knight Commander of Merit to Medical Rear Admiral Stefano Pierallini, Medical Officer of the Italian Navy and Consultant to the Inspector General for Military Health Training, took place last Tuesday at the military complex of the General Inspectorate of Military Health at Villa Fonseca, a historic site located on the Caelian Hill in Rome.

The promotion diploma and the relative decoration were presented by the Secretary General of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, H.E. Prince Don Paolo Costantino Borghese, and the Delegate for Rome and Lazio, Count Don Alessandro Gaetani dell’Aquila d’Aragona.

The ceremony was also attended by the Inspector General of Italian Military Health (IGESAN), Medical Lieutenant General Carlo Catalano, Knight Grand Officer of Merit.
