Reggio Calabria, March 29, 2026 – The Calabria Delegation is promoting a day centered on faith and solidarity titled “Giving is Sharing”, aimed at strengthening the values of Christian charity and offering concrete support to people in need.
The event will take place at the parish of Santa Maria della Candelora and will begin at 9:45 AM with the traditional Blessing of the Palms in Piazza De Nava.
At 10:00 AM, the Holy Mass will follow, celebrated by Vice Prior Monsignor Luigi Cannizzo. This central moment of the day will highlight the true meaning of giving and sharing as expressions of community and social responsibility.
The morning will conclude at 12:30 PM with the Solidarity Meal, a tangible sign of the Order’s commitment to supporting the most vulnerable segments of the population. “Giving is a voluntary act of solidarity that enriches both the giver and the receiver, creating social bonds, trust, and a sense of belonging to the community” – this is the message accompanying the initiative and conveys the spirit of the gathering.
