Calabria: Donations in Crotone and Cosenza

The Crotone Representation responded to an appeal from the “Padre Pio” popular canteen, a diocesan institution founded in 1997 by Monsignor Pancrazio Limina, dean of the local clergy and a figure long cherished by the Crotone community. Affectionately known as “Don Ezio”, he is also held in high regard by the Constantinian Order.
The event was attended by the Vice-Delegate for Calabria, Knight Grand Cross of Merit Aurelio Badolati, who, together with the local Representative, Knight of Grace Antonio Oliverio, and Knight of Merit Vito Michele De Caro, delivered a substantial quantity of food supplies and essential provisions to the popular canteen volunteers. The donation was also made on behalf of Knight of Grace Nicola Oliverio, Major Alessio Fiorentino and Lieutenant Mario Castrignano, both of whom are recognised as Benefactors of our Order.
The initiative involved more than the donation itself. Together with the volunteers, Knights Badolati, Oliverio and De Caro served hot meals, lovingly prepared, to the guests at the tables. In return, they received many smiles and simple words of “Thank you” from those benefiting from the charitable service. These gestures filled their hearts with the joy that can only be experienced by giving and dedicating oneself to less fortunate brothers and sisters. The Constantinian Knights also distributed packed lunches separately to other people who rely on the services of the “Padre Pio” popular canteen.
