Acireale, December 16th, 2025 – During the Christmas holidays, Knights Marcello Cantone and Emanuele Currò brought basic necessities for women and children in need to the “Tent of Our Lady of Christ” in Acireale. The Knights brought the Grand Prefect’s best wishes to the nuns and guests of the institute.

San Martino delle Scale, December 17th, 2025 – Commander Mr. Gasperino Como has brought to the Head of the Benedictine Caritas of the Abbey, some small panettone Christmas cakes donated by the Delegation of Sicily. Father Dom Bernardo thanked the Delegation for their constant support of the children of disadvantaged families of this location.

Monreale, December 8th, 2025 – A Solemn Pontifical Mass was held and presided over by H.E. the Most Reverend Archbishop Gualtiero Isacchi, Archbishop of Monreale and Ecclesiastical Knight Grand Cross of Grace. Representing the Order were: the Vice Delegate of Sicily, Noble Antonio di Janni, Knight Grand Cross of Grace; Chancellor Commander Claudio Ragusa; Commanders Gasperino Como and Pietro Macaluso; and Knights Giovanni Messina Spina, Rosario Tantillo, and Filippo Gagliano. At the conclusion of the Pontifical Mass, the Archbishop and Mayor Eng. Archdeacon laid flowers under the statue of the Immaculate Conception in Piazza Guglielmo II.

San Martino delle Scale, November 23rd, 2025 – The celebration on the Sunday dedicated to Christ the King of the Universe was a jubilee event for the Order, preceded by the Sicilian Delegation’s delivery of a 16th-century crucifix to the abbey church, with the approval of the Grand Master. The Holy Mass was a moment to highlight the closeness of the Abbot and the monastic community and to strengthen the journey of faith and ecclesial communion.
H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, accompanied by the Abbot, Vice Delegate Antonio di Janni, Chancellor Commander Claudio Ragusa, and Commander Nuccio Vincenzo, donated food and supplies for children to the Benedictine Caritas, as part of the “Briciole di Salute” project.
