The interesting conference “Aquae et Montes” took place in the splendid setting of the medieval Molise village of Castel San Vincenzo (IS). The event focused on the presence of various Benedictine monastic sites in the Molise and neighboring territories (from S. Vincenzo al Volturno to S. Pietro del Tasso, up to Montecassino, Naples, and Ancona). It featured the participation of various academics and scholars (Professor Federico Marazzi from the Suor Orsola Benincasa University, Professor Fabio V. Regina from Ancona, and the historian Alessandro Marzullo) in the presence of the Mayor and local authorities. The initiative was warmly welcomed by the Abbot of Montecassino, who sent a letter of thanks and congratulations, as well as by the regional Presidency. The Delegation for Molise also acted as a patron of this special cultural event. Among the speakers were the Delegate, Duke Ettore d’Alessandro di Pescolanciano, and the Vice Delegate, Count Giulio de Jorio Frisari D’Alena, who worked hard among the organizers of the conference. The latter shared historical information regarding family figures and places linked to this centuries-old Benedictine presence. The large audience also included the Dame of Justice, D. Brunella Murolo, wife of the Delegate, and various Constantinian knights (from Termoli, Colle d’Anchise, etc.) supporting the conference. The precious bond between our chivalric Order, with its Grand Master H.R.H. Prince Carlo of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Head of the Royal House, and religious orders, including the monastic congregation of Saint Benedict, was fondly remembered.

Caserta – Sunday, September 14, the Constantinian knights of Terra di Lavoro, together with some confreres of the Delegation for Molise (including the delegation secretary, Lieut. Giuseppe D’Amico, with dames and knights) of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George and some knights of SMOM, gathered at the Palatine Chapel of the Royal Palace of Caserta. They participated in the Holy Mass, celebrated by Father Claudio Signoretta SDB, on the occasion of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
