Rome, October 29, 2025 – Earlier today, H.R.H. Prince Carlo of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, Grand Master and Head of the Royal House, was received by Lieutenant General Luigi del Bene, Vice Chief of the Defence Staff, at the Defence Staff headquarters, in the presence of General Luciano Portolano, Chief of the Defence Staff.

During the meeting, which concluded with an exchange of gifts, General del Bene received from the hands of H.R.H. the Grand Master the promotion diploma and the insignia of Knight Grand Cross of Merit of the Constantinian Order.

In the afternoon, the Head of the Royal House was welcomed by the Honorable Dr. Lorenzo Fontana, President of the Chamber of Deputies, at Montecitorio, where he presented the appointment diploma of Knight Grand Cross of Merit of the Constantinian Order to the Honorable Fontana, together with the relative insignia.

On both occasions, the Duke of Castro was accompanied by the Secretary General of the Order, H.E. Don Paolo Costantino Borghese, Prince of Nettuno.
