Rome, October 29th, 2025 – Today, H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon of Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, Grand Master and Head of the Royal House, was received by H.R.H. General Luigi del Bene, Deputy Chief of Defence Staff, at the Defence General Staff, in the presence of General Luciano Portolano, Chief of Defence General Staff.

During the meeting, which concluded with an exchange of gifts, General del Bene received from H.R.H. the Grand Master the diploma of promotion and the decoration of Knight Grand Cross of Merit of the Constantinian Order.

In the afternoon, the Head of the Royal House was welcomed by the Honorable Dr. Lorenzo Fontana, President of the Chamber of Deputies, at Montecitorio, where he presented to the Honorable Fontana with the diploma of nomination as Knight of Grand Cross of Merit of the Constantinian Order, together with the related decoration.

On both occasions, the Duke of Castro was accompanied by the Secretary General of the Order, H.E. Don Paolo Costantino Borghese, Prince of Nettuno.
