On May 3, 2026, in celebration of San Francesco di Paola, co-patron of Milazzo and Patron Saint of the Maritime people, a Holy Mass was celebrated at the Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola in Milazzo. The liturgy was officiated by Auxiliary Bishop H.E. Most Rev. Msgr. Cesare Di Pietro, Ecclesiastical Knight Grand Cross of Grace of the Constantinian Order, and concelebrated by the Very Reverend Provincial Father of the Order of Minims, Carmelite Father, Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace of the Constantinian Order, together with Reverend Father Saverio Cento, Rector of the Sanctuary and Ecclesiastical Knight Grand Officer of Grace of the Constantinian Order.

In addition to a large congregation of faithful, the celebration was attended by the religious, civil, and military authorities of the city of Milazzo, as well as representatives of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George. At the conclusion of the celebration, H.E. Most Rev. Msgr. Di Pietro greeted and thanked those present in the rooms adjacent to the church, expressing his gratitude for the participation of the representatives of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George: Knight of Merit Captain Salvatore Scalzo and Knight Antonio Smiroldo.
