In the solemn context of the celebrations in honor of Our Lady of Consolation, Patroness of the City of Reggio Calabria, a representation from the Calabria delegation had the honor of being received in an official/private visit by His Eminence Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints and Grand Prior of the Constantinian Order. His Eminence was in Reggio Calabria on the occasion of the patronal feast, representing the Holy Father at the invitation of the Metropolitan Archbishop, Monsignor Fortunato Morrone. The meeting took place at the “Pius X” Archdiocesan Seminary in an atmosphere of profound spiritual communion and fraternal dialogue. The Vice-Delegate for Calabria, Aurelio Badolati, outlined the main charitable and spiritual activities carried out by the Order in the region, renewing the Constantinian commitment to the service of faith and those in need, in line with a centuries-old tradition founded on charity, justice, and evangelical witness. The Vice-Prior, the Reverend Father Luigi Cannizzo, emphasized the indispensable dimension of prayer as the primary and essential engine of every charitable action, recalling the spiritual heritage that has animated the life of the Order for centuries. To seal the occasion, the Delegation presented His Eminence with an artistic ceramic plate, finely painted with the heraldic design of his cardinalatial coat of arms: a tangible token of esteem, affection, and deep devotion. His Eminence, recalling that the statutory feast of the Order, the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, had been celebrated just on Sunday, September 14, expressed words of appreciation for the work carried out by the Delegation and encouraged those present to continue with zeal and humility on their path of faith and service, faithful to the chivalric vocation of the Order and the teachings of Christ.

The Solemnity of the Exaltation of the Cross was celebrated in Cosenza, in the parish of Santa Teresa, with the participation of a representation of Knights of our Sacred Militia. The celebrant, Mons. Dario de Paola, explained the religious and historical significance of the occasion and the service concluded with the reading of the Knight’s prayer.
