Vienna, July 1st, 2026 – On the initiative of the Vice-Delegate for Austria, Attorney Dr. Alexander Babinek, a meeting of the Austrian Delegation of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George took place at the headquarters of the Austrian Episcopal Conference in the Archbishop’s Palace in Vienna.

The Delegation accepted the invitation of the General Secretary of the Austrian Episcopal Conference, Dr. Peter Schipka, and was cordially received at the Archbishop’s Palace. The meeting represented an important opportunity for dialogue and discussion in an atmosphere of mutual respect and cordiality.

During the meeting, the General Secretary illustrated the mission, institutional responsibilities, and activities of the Austrian Episcopal Conference, also focusing on the main pastoral themes and current positions of the Catholic Church in Austria.

The Delegation presented the charitable activities of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George in Italy and Austria, as well as the social and humanitarian initiatives currently being implemented and planned.

The meeting confirmed the shared desire to deepen the dialogue between the Church and the Order’s charitable work, promoting an ever closer collaboration at the service of people and the common good.
