Palermo, May 17, 2026 – The feast of the Most Holy Crucifix took place at the Constantinian Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity La Magione. A representation of Knights of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, led by the Vice Delegate H.E. the Noble Knight Grand Cross of Grace Antonio di Janni, took part in the solemn liturgy, which was presided over by the Parish Priest, the Very Reverend Constantinian Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace Don Massimiliano Purpura. The Chancellor of the Delegation, Commander Claudio Ragusa, and Knight Filippo Gagliano were also present. At the end of the liturgy, the procession of the Most Holy Crucifix, carried on the shoulders of the Confraternity, wound through the streets of the parish territory. The Crucifix stopped in front of the historic Borsellino Pharmacy, owned by the father of Judge Paolo Borsellino, who was brutally assassinated by the mafia in via D’Amelio on July 19, 1992, where Father Purpura recited a prayer in suffrage for all the innocent victims killed by the mafia.

Today, by the will of the Judge’s brother, Salvatore Borsellino, the ancient Pharmacy has been recovered and transformed into the “Casa di Paolo” (Paolo’s House), a bastion of legality that hosts a cultural center and a study room for the youth of the Kalsa neighborhood.
