On Thursday, March 6, the representation of Alessandria, led by Dame Simona Delfino, at the invitation of Bishop H.E. Monsignor Guido Marini, attended the solemnity of San Marziano, patron saint of the city of Tortona.

The solemn Holy Mass was presided over by the Archbishop of Genoa and Metropolitan H.E. Monsignor Marco Tasca and concelebrated by the Bishop Emeritus of Tortona H.E. Monsignor Martino Canessa.

Several Knights of the representation and the Vice Prior of the delegation, Don Augusto Piccoli, were present. At the end, together with civil and military authorities, the attendees gathered in the halls of the bishop’s palace for a celebratory toast.
