Molise: Food delivery and “A Gift for a Smile”

February 3, 2026
December 2025. The usual round of food deliveries to certain parishes in Molise by the Constantinian brothers took place during the Christmas holidays. With the support of the Molise knights and volunteers, coordinated by Secretary D’Amico and Delegate Duke d’Alessandro, various quantities of pasta, preserves, milk, biscuits, and “panettone” Christmas cakes were collected and distributed to religious organizations that provide assistance and support to those most in need. The initiative was welcomed by the ecclesiastical authorities, confirming the Delegation’s long-standing commitment to the local Church.

Among the many charitable activities, those carried out around Christmas are even more emotionally charged. With this spirit, this year too, the Knight Commander Giuseppe D’Amico, Secretary of the Delegation, has involved Knights, Dames, Postulants and Volunteers so that they could deliver, on the instructions of Archbishop Monsignor Biagio Colaianni, to the “Casa degli Angeli” at the Diocesan Caritas of Campobasso, various parishes in Molise, and the “Confraternity of Mercy”of Termoli, food, shoes, clothing, and “panettone” Christmas cakes for our homeless brothers and sisters. For the generous donation of pasta, we thank the “PASTIFICIO COLAVITA” of Campobasso, and for the donation of vinegar and oil, we thank the “COLAVITA” Food Company of Sant’Elia a Pianisi, who are so committed to the essence of working for our brothers and sisters in need, as well as our Knights, Dames, Postulants, and Volunteers, whose loving contributions enabled the purchase of approximately 200 panettone Christmas cakes, shoes, and jackets. For the “Casa degli Angeli,” the donation was received by Father Giuseppe Graziano, Vice Prior Delegate, and Father Davide Picciano, Vice President of Caritas and our Ecclesiastical Knight. On behalf of Mons. Colaianni, they offered their sincere thanks for the charitable work, receiving greetings from the Delegate Duke Ettore D’Alessandro and from H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro and Grand Master.
