Milan, January 3, 2026 – The “San Ferdinando Tent City” mission of the Tanghetti & Chiari ETS Foundation has begun: from a distance of 1,160 km, Fiorella Tanghetti, Katia Chiari, and nine volunteers delivered a load of humanitarian aid to the San Ferdinando Tent City in Reggio Calabria.
With approximately 1,000 duvets, 3,000 brioches, 340 gift packages, and much more, the Foundation has done its part to alleviate the suffering of those living in difficult conditions, with the valuable support of Bartolo Mercuri, known as “Papà Africa,” who has been dedicated for years to bringing aid to those in need.
“Despite progress, poverty is still a reality, and it is essential,” the Foundation recalls, “to continue raising awareness on the issue of poverty, as we too often witness real violations of human rights, and each of us has a duty to act.”
