Mantova, March 22, 2025 – During a convivial meeting, two merit medals were awarded: a silver medal to former Quaestor Giannina Roatta and a bronze medal to journalist Antonia Bersellini Baroni. The awards were presented on behalf of the Delegate of Lombardy, Count Giuseppe Rizzani, by the Representative for the city of Mantua, Knight Officer Maurizio Mirandola.
The ceremony was attended by the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri, Vincenzo Di Stefano, and the Provincial Commander of the Guardia di Finanza, Antonello Cefalo, along with other Knights, volunteers, and friends.

Thursday, March 6 – Accepting the invitation of His Excellency Monsignor Guido Marini, Bishop of Tortona, the Delegate of Lombardy, Count Giuseppe Rizzani, took part in the solemn Pontifical Mass of San Marziano in the Cathedral of Tortona. On that occasion, to honor the Patron Saint of the diocese, the Lombardy delegation donated the sum of 3,000 euros for the Tortona seminary. Although the Diocese of Tortona has its episcopal seat in Piedmont, it belongs to the Ligurian ecclesiastical region, but its largest and most populous part is located in Lombardy, in the province of Pavia, covering more than a third of it. The celebration was also attended by the Representative of Pavia, Lodi, and Cremona, Don Maurizio Ceriani, who also holds the position of Episcopal Vicar for Consecrated Life in the diocese. In this Jubilee year, the Lombardy Delegation will also partner with the Diocese of Tortona for an important cultural event: the exhibition on the Pilgrim Saints of the diocese—Bovo, Contardo, and Rocco—which will open at the Diocesan Museum of Tortona on May 12.
Saturday, April 12 – In the Chapel of the Tortona Seminary, Bishop Mons. Guido Marini, our Knight Grand Cross, presided over the Jubilee Holy Mass for the Knights and Dames of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George and the Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus. The Lombardy Delegation, to which two-thirds of the extensive territory of the Tortona diocese belongs, was represented by the Delegate Count Giuseppe Rizzani, the Representative of Monza Brianza Comm. Giuseppe Perego, and the Representative of Pavia, Lodi, and Cremona Comm. Don Maurizio Ceriani, who is also Episcopal Vicar of the Diocese of Tortona. At the end of the celebration, Mons. Guido Marini expressed his gratitude to the Delegate of Lombardy for the support that the Delegation has provided over the years to the diocese in favor of the Bishop’s charity, the seminary, the diocesan scholarship, and the exhibition on the Pilgrim Saints for the Jubilee, which will open on May 15.
