H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect, presented H.E. Most Reverend Monsignor Salvatore Romeo with the diploma of Knight Grand Cross of Ecclesiastical Grace. Immediately afterward, the Princess visited the Saint Conrad soup kitchen, where she was welcomed by Sister Teresa of the Little Friars of Jesus and Mary. On this occasion, a supply of healthcare items from the “Briciole di Salute” project was donated.
On the morning of Friday, June 16, H.R.H. the Grand Prefect was received by H.E. Most Reverend Monsignor Gualtiero Isacchi, Archbishop of Monreale and Ecclesiastical Knight Grand Cross of Grace. The Vice-Delegate of Sicily also took part in the meeting. The Princess and the Archbishop discussed the economic situation of many families and how to assist them by strengthening the “Briciole di Salute” project.
On Friday, June 16, during a visit to the Benedictine Abbey of San Martino delle Scale, Princess Beatrice toured the ancient, recently restored Benedictine pharmacy.

On Friday, June 16, H.R.H. Princess Beatrice delivered several healthcare items from the “Briciole di Salute” Project to the Most Reverend Abbot of the Abbey, Dom Vittorio Rizzone. Milk, baby food, and diapers of various sizes will help children from needy families assisted by the Benedictine Caritas.
On June 23, the Sicily delegation presented the new community-focused project “Briciole di Cultura” (Crumbs of Culture), aimed at supporting the most vulnerable groups, inside the pediatric ward of the Umberto I Hospital in Enna.
H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies served as the godmother of the project.
The “Briciole di Cultura” project aims to inspire children to experience the joy of reading.
