Rome, March 8th, 2023 – On the occasion of International Women’s Day, and driven by a strong impulse from H.R.H. Princess Camilla of Bourbon Sicilies, Duchess of Castro, the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George made a massive donation of clothing and shoes to be destined for women victims of violence supported by the Salvamamme Association, led by Dr. Maria Grazia Passeri, President. In addition to clothing, blankets, medical supplies for diabetics, and underpads were also donated.

Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies, besides holding the position of Ambassador for the UN Women For Peace Association, also serves as the Global Ambassador for Salvamamme.

Always on the front lines in the fight against violence and inequality toward women, the Princess expressed words of deep gratitude for the work of the association and its numerous volunteers, who for years have been committed to guaranteeing protection, shelter, and all kinds of support for local women in difficulty.
