Rome, Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 – During a private ceremony, the Noble Doctor Giuseppe dei Conti Rizzani, in his capacity as Grand Chancellor of the “Gran Consejo Araldico de El Salvador”, presented the Duke of Castro with the diploma and insignia of the “Gran Orden Francisco Morazan”.
This is the highest decoration of the Republic of El Salvador, issued in a single class with a collar, which was granted to Prince Charles for his extraordinary humanitarian commitment and for his charitable actions in favor of the most needy throughout the world as Head of the Royal House of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies and Grand Master of the Dynastic Orders.
Exceptionally, H.E. Nayib Armando Bukele Ortez, President of the Republic of El Salvador, wished to confer the same honor upon H.R.H. Princess Maria Carolina of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duchess of Calabria, in her capacity as Hereditary Princess of the Royal House of Bourbon Two Sicilies.
