The traditional inauguration ceremony of the 2024-2025 Academic Year of the Air Force Training Institutes took place on Friday, November 8, in Florence, at the Aula Magna of the Institute of Military Aeronautical Sciences. The event was attended by the Undersecretary of State for the Ministry of Defense, Senator Isabella Rauti. The ceremony, which saw the participation of the Air Force Chief of Staff, Air Squad General Luca Goretti, alongside numerous civil and military authorities, addressed key topics such as the importance of training, the human element, and the development of new technologies

During the ceremony, once again this year, the Constantin Order wished to award a merit medal to a female student from the 2nd class of the Regular Courses of the Academy who particularly distinguished herself, through propensity and conduct, in charitable and welfare initiatives. The award was presented by H.E. the Grand Chancellor, Prince Ruspoli.
