Bangkok, December 27th, 2025 – The Delegate for Southeast Asia, H.E. Don Antonio Benedetto Spada, Knight of the lllustrious Royal Order of Saint Januarius, has designated Vice Delegate Dame Commander Paola Benaglia to present a donation of women’s and men’s clothing to Father Edgar Nava, a Mexican Xaverian missionary in charge of the Stella Maris Seafarers’ Centre and Mission to Seafarers, in Khlong Toei (one of the most disadvantaged neighborhoods of the Thai capital), along with a laser printer. She will then attend a Christmas event (dancing, singing, games followed by prayer and a blessing from Father Edgar, distribution of gifts, and shared meals) for the children of the Rama IV Pumping Station Community, where the Vice Delegate has brought a beautifully crafted toy scooter and car to be shared by all the children. Additional gifts and toys were kindly provided by Mister Leonard H. Le Blanc III, a U.S. Navy Officer and renowned writer and professor, and his teenage children, Jasmine and Leonard IV, who were always available to serve on behalf of the Delegation.
Special thanks also go to the support of Engineer Alessandro Benaglia, who was in Bangkok to spend the Christmas season with his sister Paola, Vice Delegate.
