I have learned with deep concern of the serious consequences of Cyclone Harry, which hit vast areas of Sicily, Calabria, and Sardinia, causing extensive damage and putting communities, families, and territories to the test.
In this difficult time, I wish to express my sincere sympathy to all those affected, to those who have suffered hardship, material loss, and suffering, as well as to those forced to face emergency situations and uncertainty.
On behalf of myself and the entire Constantinian Order, I extend my deepest sympathy to the affected communities, along with my sincere appreciation for the tireless work of the Police, Firefighters, Civil Defense, Rescue workers, and volunteers who, with dedication and a sense of duty, are working to ensure safety, assistance, and support.
Sicily, Calabria, and Sardinia, lands of ancient civilization, extraordinary beauty, and a strong identity, have repeatedly demonstrated throughout their history a remarkable capacity for resilience and solidarity. Hoping that the recovery and reconstruction phase can proceed with unity and responsibility, I renew my encouragement and my closeness to all affected communities.
With sentiments of heartfelt solidarity,
Charles of Bourbon-Two Sicilies
Duke of Castro
