On 8 September, the traditional celebration of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, venerated as Our Lady of Monte Berico, was once again held in Vicenza.
The solemn celebration was presided over by H.E. Archbishop Francesco Moraglia, Patriarch of Venice and Prior of the Constantinian Order of Saint George, on a day of particular significance for the history and spirituality of the Vicenza area. This year, the occasion carries even greater importance as it falls within the Marian Jubilee Year, marking the 600th anniversary of the first apparition of the Virgin Mary on Monte Berico.
Representing the Constantinian Order of Saint George at the celebration were Prince Giovanni Alliata di Montereale, Delegate for Venice; the Vice-Delegate for Triveneto, Grand Officer Lucio Pasqualetto; and Knights Roberto Meneguzzo and Antonio Michelazzo, fellow members of the Order.
The celebration brought together numerous ecclesiastical dignitaries, including H.E. Bishop Giuliano Brugnotto of Vicenza, as well as cardinals and bishops who had travelled from across Italy and various parts of the world, for a moment of profound communion and participation.
The Delegation is proud to have taken part in this important occasion through the presence of its fellow members, reaffirming the Constantinian Order of Saint George’s commitment to the values of faith, service and dedication that guide its mission.

This year, the Triveneto Delegation was invited to participate in the patronal liturgical celebration in honour of Saint Bona, Virgin of Treviso, alongside the Delegation of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.
Grand Officer Dr Lucio Pasqualetto and Commander Dr Giovanni Pavan were particularly pleased to accept the welcome invitation extended by the Reverend Don Federico Testa, parish priest of the parish dedicated to Saint Bona, Virgin of Treviso.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by the Reverend Don Antonio Dal Bò, together with numerous priests from the same parish in Treviso, in an atmosphere of deep spirituality and active participation.
