Today, May 8th, marks the first of two annual occasions celebrating devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary venerated in the Pontifical Shrine of Pompeii (the other being the first Sunday of October).

As tradition dictates, the famous Supplication to the Madonna will be recited today at 12:00 PM. May the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii, patroness of the Royal House of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies and of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, intervene and always protect with Her powerful intercession our Grand Master, the Royal Family, and all the Knights and Dames of the Constantinian Order. Queen of the Holy Rosary and of peace, pray for us and for the entire world.
