On March 27, a meeting was held with H.E.R. Archbishop Gian Carlo Perego at the seat of the bishop’s curia in Ferrara. The Delegate for Emilia-Romagna, Count Gian Luca Mattioli Belmonte Cima, accompanied by the Vice Delegate, Knight Officer Pietro Coppelli, and the Representative for the city of Ferrara, Ecclesiastical Knight Don Davide Benini, presented the diploma of Ecclesiastical Knight Grand Cross of Grace to the Archbishop of Ferrara-Comacchio, Monsignor Perego.

Ferrara, April 5, 2025 – In preparation for Holy Easter, the Representation made an important donation to ensure a tangible sign of closeness to those in need ahead of the upcoming holidays. The donation was given to the voluntary association “Servizio Accoglienza alla Vita” – SAV of Ferrara, which works to provide assistance and help to mothers and families in difficulty. Volunteers Matteo Zaganelli, Walter and Emanuele Chessa, together with Knights Davide Zamboni and Antonio Ombra, coordinating with the Representative Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace Don Davide Benini, were welcomed by the tireless volunteers and the President Mrs. Monica Negrini, who are deeply thanked. They delivered the items they had collected and purchased: over 200 kg of food, mainly Easter eggs and traditional dove-shaped cakes (colombe), but also infant milk, pasta, preserved vegetables, as well as toys, clothes, and other goods indicated as useful by the association.
