Acireale, March 13, 2026 – In preparation for Holy Easter, the Knights of the province of Catania led the parish Stations of the Cross at the Basilica of San Sebastiano.

This moment of communal prayer allowed those present to meditate on the mystery of the Cross and to renew their personal journey of faith in following Christ.

The Reverend Dean Don Alessandro Di Stefano, Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace, emphasized the importance of wearing the Cross for a Constantinian Knight, with which one fights the miseries, poverty, and physical and spiritual sufferings afflicting humanity. These battles are won “in hoc signo.”

Afterward, the Knights, stopping at each station, read passages from the devotional practice of the Stations of the Cross by Saint Alfonso de Liguori.
