Our city boasts a historic relationship with the Bourbon dynasty, evidenced by the preservation of sites and military structures dating back to the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. We welcome Prince Charles as an honorary member of Gaeta, confident that his presence will continue to foster our cultural and tourism development.&#8221;<\/em><br\/> As emerged during the formal ceremony in front of a large audience, Gaeta was defined as \u201cCitta Fedelissima\u201d (Most Faithful City) by Charles III of Bourbon in 1738, and was also the second capital of the Kingdom of Naples and temporary seat of the Papacy in 1848, Pius IX having fled to Gaeta under the protection of the King of the Two Sicilies, Ferdinand II of Bourbon. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/3-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-77557\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/4-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-77561\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p><br\/>  <em>&#8220;I am deeply grateful for this prestigious honor.
