Claude d\u2019Orl\u00e9ans. The meeting formed part of the event \u201cThe Journey of the Marquis of the Carriages,\u201d held in memory of Mario d\u2019Alessandro, Knight of Justice of the Constantinian Order as well as of the Order of Saint Januarius. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Evento-delegazione-per-il-Molise-carrozze-1-742x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-104994\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D\u2019Alessandro, a collector of carriages, accomplished an extraordinary feat in 1955: together with some friends, he departed from his residence in Portici on a four-in-hand stagecoach, covering more than 150 km of unpaved roads, passing through his castle in Pescolanciano and reaching Campobasso in just three days.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Evento-delegazione-per-il-Molise-carrozze-2-1024x473.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-104998\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the 71st anniversary of the event, a similar journey was organized by Giuseppe Angiulli, under the patronage of the d\u2019Alessandro family di Pescolanciano, for about ten participants. Departing from Castellammare, the stagecoaches headed to Ercolano, Portici, Naples, and Santa Maria Capua Vetere, continuing into Molise as far as Agnone. Each stop became a moment to meet friends, Knights, and enthusiasts, visiting places of the former Kingdom of Naples while discussing equestrian traditions and local excellences. The event was filmed by the crew of journalist Nicola Mastronardi, who will produce a television documentary.   <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Evento-delegazione-per-il-Molise-carrozze-3-1024x473.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-105002\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delegates and participants were welcomed at Villa Campolieto in Ercolano for a reception hosted by Maria Cristina Bianchi in memory of her father, Prof. Leonardo Bianchi, himself a connoisseur and collector of carriages, with greetings from Dott.
