In the solemn context of the celebrations in honor of Our Lady of Consolation, Patroness Saint of the City of Reggio Calabria, a delegation from Calabria had the honor of being received on an institutional\/private visit by His Most Reverend Eminence Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints and Grand Prior of the Constantinian Order. His Eminence was in Reggio Calabria for the patronal feast, representing the Holy Father, at the invitation of Metropolitan Archbishop Mons. Fortunato Morrone. The meeting took place at the “Pio X” Archdiocesan Seminary in an atmosphere of profound spiritual communion and fraternal dialogue. The Vice Delegate for Calabria, Aurelio Badolati, illustrated the Order’s main charitable and spiritual activities in the region, renewing its Constantinian commitment to serving the faith and those in need, in keeping with a centuries-old tradition founded on charity, justice, and evangelical witness. The Vice Prior, Rev. Don Luigi Cannizzo, emphasized the essential dimension of prayer as the primary and indispensable driving force behind every charitable action, recalling the spiritual heritage that has inspired the life of the Order for centuries. To mark the occasion, the Delegation honored His Eminence with a finely painted ceramic plate bearing the heraldic design of His cardinal’s coat of arms: a tangible sign of esteem, affection and profound devotion. His Eminence, recalling that the Order’s statutory feast, the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, was celebrated on Sunday, September 14th, expressed his appreciation for the work of the Delegation and encouraged those present to continue with zeal and humility on their path of faith and service, faithful to the Order’s chivalric vocation and the teachings of Christ. <\/p>\n\n

The Solemnity of the Exaltation of the Cross was celebrated in Cosenza, in the parish of Santa Teresa, with the participation of a representation of Knights of our Sacred Militia. The celebrant, Mons.
