At the Pediatrics Department of the Annunziata Hospital in Cosenza, \u201cmedical devices,\u201d more precisely classified as \u201cpulse oximeters,\u201d were delivered to support the monitoring of young patients. On the occasion of the Jubilee Year, the idea arose to do something tangible, and the project proposed by Monsignor Dario de Paola, chaplain of the city of Cosenza, was immediately embraced by the highest religious and civic institutions of the city. As many as seven medical devices were donated to the hospital, and undoubtedly a key role in the initiative was played by our Calabria Delegation which, through the Representative of the City of Cosenza, Cav. Uff. In the parish of Candelora in Reggio Calabria, Campolo donated 60 individual meals for the most needy, helping to provide immediate and dignified assistance to individuals and families going through difficult times. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"960\" src=\"https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/27-dicembre.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-100535\" srcset=\"https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/27-dicembre.webp 720w, https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/27-dicembre-225x300.webp 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">December 27, 2025 \u2013 A first meeting took place at the Archbishop\u2019s Palace of Crotone between the new Archbishop of Crotone\u2013Santa Severina, H.E. Monsignor Alberto Torriani, and a delegation representative group. The city representative, Knight of Grace Antonio Oliverio, together with Knight of Grace Nicola Oliverio and Knight of Merit Vito Michele De Caro, acknowledged the commendable spirit guiding Monsignor Torriani: at his first episcopal appointment, coming from the Diocese of Milan, he immediately identified ways to promote and root a shared commitment within the social fabric of the city. <br\/>Thus, a perfect unity of purpose was affirmed, with particular attention to be given to the younger generations. Likewise, a special dedication toward the most vulnerable and marginalized brothers and sisters\u2014whose numbers in Crotone continue to grow, creating widespread areas of social hardship\u2014was reaffirmed by H.E. Archbishop Monsignor Torriani. He praised the many charitable activities that the Knights of Crotone regularly carry out in support of the \u201cPadre Pio\u201d Soup Kitchen, active since 1997, where, on Christmas Day, the Archbishop himself offered his greetings and blessing.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"960\" src=\"https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/23-dicembre.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-100540\" srcset=\"https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/23-dicembre.webp 720w, https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/23-dicembre-225x300.webp 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">December 23, 2025 \u2013 The relationship between the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George and the community of Crotone was further strengthened, highlighting the true spirit of Christmas. Once again, the \u201cPadre Pio\u201d Soup Kitchen hosted an initiative of the Order. On behalf of the Calabria Delegation, Knight of Merit Vito Michele De Caro and Knight of Grace Antonio Oliverio, city representative, made a food donation; they also prepared and served lunch to an even larger number of people than on previous occasions. The two Knights donated approximately eighty slices of lean meat and an equal number of portions of chicken. Assisted by the soup kitchen volunteers, they prepared the meal. The first course consisted of a large tray of baked pasta, lovingly prepared by the volunteers. Finally, Antonio Oliverio and Michele De Caro personally served the meals to the guests. The day of solidarity concluded with the exchange of Christmas greetings and the blessing imparted by Monsignor Limina to the Constantinian Knights and the volunteers of the diocesan structure.       <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"771\" src=\"https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/3-gennaio-1024x771.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-100544\" srcset=\"https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/3-gennaio-1024x771.webp 1024w, https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/3-gennaio-300x226.webp 300w, https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/3-gennaio-768x578.webp 768w, https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/3-gennaio-1536x1157.webp 1536w, https:\/\/constantinianorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/3-gennaio.webp 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. \u2013 At the Church of Saint Catherine in Gioiosa Ionica, a solemn Holy Mass was celebrated on the occasion of the anniversary of the pious passing of the Servant of God Francis II of Bourbon, the last sovereign of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies.<br\/>The initiative was promoted by the Cultural Association \u201cDue Sicilie\u201d of Gioiosa Ionica, in collaboration with the Calabria Delegation, with the aim of preserving and passing on the historical and spiritual memory linked to the figure of Francis II.<br\/>The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Canon Don Nicola Commisso Meleca, Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace of the Order, who during the liturgy recalled the Christian values of faith, humility, and witness lived by the Servant of God, emphasizing the spiritual significance of his passing.<br\/>At the end of the Holy Mass, a moment of reflection on the theme \u201cMemory and Identity\u201d was held, led by Professor Mariolina Spadaro, during which the value of historical memory as a fundamental element of the cultural and spiritual identity of peoples was explored, with particular reference to the tradition of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies and its moral legacy.<br\/>The event, which represented a moment of recollection, reflection, and sharing, saw a significant participation of faithful, knights, and members, testifying to a lively interest in initiatives that combine spirituality, history, and cultural identity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 7th, a delegation from Calabria, at the invitation of the Archconfraternity of Maria SS del Rosario and San Giovanni Battista of Vibo Valentia, joined with faith and devotion in the celebration of the Holy Mass in honor of the Queen of Victories.
