At the end of the services, the Noble Doctor Antonio di Janni presented Monsignor Raspanti with a commemorative medal from the Sicilian delegation, depicting the Royal Eagle with the Bourbon coat of arms on one side and the Constantinian cross on the other. “We wanted to present this medal as a tangible sign of our gratitude for a figure who represents one of the highest expressions of the Italian episcopate. In him, we recognize an authentic Pastor, capable of combining theological depth, attention to the most vulnerable, and reading the signs of the times without ever losing the centrality of the Gospel.”

Also present were the Representative for Mazara, the Very Reverend Parish Priest Father Franco Geraldo Caruso, Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace and Rector of the Church of San Vito a Mare, which is entrusted to the care of the Constantinian Order), the Very Reverend Parish Priest Father Daniele Donato, Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace and Vice Rector of the Church of San Vito a Mare, the Very Reverend Parish Priest Father Giancarlo Tumburello, Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace, and the Very Reverend Parish Priest Father Salvatore Pavia (Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace).

Campobasso, May 31, 2026 – At the closing of the Marian month, a representation of Knights and Dames of the Delegation for Molise, led by Knight Commander Giuseppe D’Amico, participated in the solemn Eucharistic Celebration presided over by H.E. Mons. Colaianni in honor of Maria SS. Incoronata del Monte. The Mass was followed by the traditional procession through the city streets, preceded by the historic preparation of flower carpets for the infiorata by the population. This renews a ritual that, since 1800, perpetuates from generation to generation the deep bond of devotion between the citizenship and the “Madonnina” of the capital city.

It is a sacred promontory, and reaching it in procession to then return to the city represents a pilgrimage that takes place at night to arrive at dawn—almost a journey from darkness toward the Light.

On behalf of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, Antonio Oliverio, Knight of Grace and Representative for the city of Crotone, Maria Pia Galasso, Dame of Merit, and Vito Michele De Caro, Knight of Merit (also present in his capacity as president of the National Association of Italian Sailors), took part in the pilgrimage of the “return” of the Madonna of Capo Colonna. This year 2026 is an important one: as it marks the septennial of the Marian celebrations, the so-called “Large Painting”—the richly decorated original Byzantine Icon—was carried in procession instead of the smaller and more recent icon, the “Quadricello”.

The path from the promontory of Capo Colonna wound along the coast amid prayers, traditional floral tributes, and messages dropped from balconies as the Madonna passed by. In a Piazza Pitagora overflowing with pilgrims and faithful, the Archbishop of Crotone – Santa Severina, H.E.R. Monsignor Alberto Torriani, imparted the Apostolic Blessing to all, preceded by an intense and heartfelt message of hope and love for the Virgin and for all Humanity in this confused era. Heartfelt thanks were extended by the Constantinian Representation to Monsignor Pancrazio Limina, president of the Cathedral Chapter of Crotone, for once again inviting the Constantinian Delegation to take part in these solemn moments of devotion.

The central moment of the visit took place with the official presentation of the appointment diploma to H.E. Most Reverend Monsignor Alfonso Raimo, Auxiliary Bishop and Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Salerno-Campagna-Acerno. Concurrently, he was appointed Prior of the Delegation of Naples and Campania. The visit continued in the crypt of the Cathedral of Salerno for a tribute at the tomb of the Patron Saint, Saint Matthew the Apostle and Evangelist. Subsequently, the delegation visited the areas of the Duomo to admire its magnificent and historic Treasure

Finally, Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies and Marchioness Federica de Gregorio Cattaneo paid tribute before the tomb of the late Cardinal Renato Raffaele Martino, former Grand Prior of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, who rests inside the monumental complex.

Amalfi, May 2026 – The official visit to the Duomo of Amalfi took place, presided over by H.E. Most Reverend Monsignor Alfonso Raimo together with Don Claudio Mancusi. The event was made possible thanks to the courteous hospitality of the Commander of the Coast Guard, Giovanni Calvelli, and the Commander of the Finance Guard of Amalfi, Ottavio Loviglio. The meeting was also attended by the Delegate for Naples and Campania, Marchioness Federica de Gregorio Cattaneo, and Knight Angelo Giovanni Marciano.
