A high-profile physicist, founder and driving force behind of the most important scientific institutions, Professor Zichichi dedicated his life to research, to the dissemination of knowledge and to the dialogue between science, faith, and humanism, by offering an invaluable contribution to humanity’s cultural progress.

In remembering his commitment, testimony and example, the Constantinian Order honors his memory with gratitude and respect, by expressing its deepest condolences to his family and to those who shared his human and intellectual journey.

Emilia-Romagna, Ferrara – The Representation made two donations to the volunteer association “Servizio Accoglienza alla Vita” (SAV) of Ferrara, which works to assist and support mothers and families in difficulty. The initiative was part of the charitable activities carried out at the beginning of 2026 and coordinated by the Representative, Ecclesiastical Knight Officer of Grace Don Davide Benini. The first donation, on January 28th, involved Knights Walter Chessa and Emanuele Chessa, presenting toys, children’s clothing and accessories, as well as long-life food products to the volunteers. The second donation, on February 6th, saw Knights Antonio Ombra and Davide Zamboni, assisted by volunteer Valentino Biocco, deliver to the ever-helpful volunteers, clothing, toys and accessories for children, along with pasta and other food products for children.

Among the many charitable activities, those carried out near Christmas evoke especially deep emotions. In this spirit, once again this year, Comm. Giuseppe D’Amico, Secretary of the Delegation, involved Knights, Dames, Postulants, and Volunteers to deliver, under the guidance of Archbishop Mons. Biagio Colaianni, donations to the “Casa degli Angeli” at the Diocesan Caritas of Campobasso, to various parishes in Molise, and to the Confraternity of Mercy of Termoli. The contributions included food supplies, shoes, clothing, and panettone for homeless brothers and sisters.
Special thanks are extended to Pastificio Colavita of Campobasso for the generous donation of pasta, and to the food company Colavita of Sant’Elia a Pianisi for the donation of vinegar and oil, whose commitment reflects a deep care for aiding our needy brothers and sisters. Likewise, our Knights, Dames, Postulants, and Volunteers, through their loving contributions, enabled the purchase of approximately 200 panettone, as well as shoes and jackets. At the “Casa degli Angeli”, the donations were received by Don Giuseppe Graziano, Vice Prior of the Delegation, and Don Davide Picciano, Vice President of Caritas and also our Ecclesiastical Knight. On behalf of Mons. Colaianni, they warmly thanked all involved for this charitable initiative, extending greetings from Delegate Duca Ettore D’Alessandro and H.R.H. Prince Carlo of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro and Grand Master.

Naples, Sunday, January 18th, 2026 – H.R.H. Princess Maria Carolina of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duchess of Calabria and Palermo, together with her aunt H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies and Marchesa Federica de Gregorio Cattaneo, Delegate for Naples and Campania of the Constantinian Order, took part in the events scheduled at the “Nunziatella” Military School, a symbolic place of the history and the identity of Naples and Italy.
During the visit, the Princess announced, in agreement with the 83rd Commander of the School, Colonel Alberto Valent, the increase in the scholarship fund named after her, established in 2006 through the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, reaffirming a concrete and personal commitment to supporting the Nunziatella students.

“I am very happy to be here today at the Nunziatella, together with my beloved Aunt Beatrice. Walking through these places brings to life a history that belongs not only to my family, but also to entire generations of young people who learned the value of service and sacrifice here,” said the Princess. “It is impossible not to think of the emotion felt by my ancestor, King Ferdinand IV, when this School was founded. It still represents a bastion of values ​​and education, capable of speaking to young people about the present and the future.”
“I am deeply moved to see so many female students: it is a sign of an institution that knows how to evolve, that looks to the future with courage, and that increasingly recognizes the central role for women. In their eyes, I see the passion and enthusiasm that make the Nunziatella a truly unique place. Precisely for this reason, I wished to strengthen the scholarship that bears my name: a small gesture to support these young people on their journey of growth.”

The Delegate of Liguria, toghether with Volunteer Dott. Pietro Chersola, delivered some food supplies as a donation for the charitable works of the Diocese of Sanremo and Ventimiglia. They have been welcomed directly by the Bishop, H.E. Mons. Antonio Suetta, with whom they were able to have a long and cordial conversation, during which he recalled mainly the the commitment of the Constantinian knights to those most in need, in the constant glorification of the Holy Cross. The Bishop then adressed several matters of immediate relevance: the increasingly urgent requests for help from individuals and families, both Italian and non-EU, especially near the French border; the need to support the educational efforts for our youth, often exposed to pseudo-cultural influences that are utterly negative for their harmonious development; and the emergency of a natural right that is increasingly disregarded and attacked by social dynamics, whereby the right to life is denied from the very first moments of existence.”

San Gervasio Bresciano. On Sunday, October 5, 2025, the feast of Our Lady of Pompeii, patroness of the Constantinian Order, was celebrated. The Holy Mass, enriched by the parish choir, and the procession were presided over by Bishop H.E. Monsignor Domenico Sigalini and saw the participation of many faithful, families, children, and young people. During the procession, the parish banner and that of the Confraternity of Our Lady of Sorrows were also carried. The banner of the Constantinian Order preceded the delegation of Knights and Dames led by the Lombardy Delegate, Dott. Giuseppe Rizzani. Local authorities were present, including the municipal administration with the town banner and the Carabinieri. Volunteer and social solidarity associations also took part with their banners, along with the band and the security service provided by the National Carabinieri Association. After the Bishop’s homily, the new sisters who had arrived in the parish, Sister Vittoria and Sister Adele of the Congregation of the Blessed Virgin, were officially welcomed. The Deputy Mayor, Ms. Barbara Migliorati, on behalf of the municipal administration, donated two bicycles to the Sisters, which will be very useful for their ministry.

Montichiari (Brescia), October 27, 2025 – Knights Nicola and Denis Salvi, Knights Francesco Nicolò, Pietro Santacroce, Paolo Tarallo and Marco Forcella, the decorated Luciano Pignatelli, and the postulant Tommaso Longo delivered food supplies, including numerous packages of canned tomatoes and 150 kg of pasta, to the “Silent Volunteers of the Cross” Center, to Sisters Rosa and Luciana, in support of elderly people and families assisted by the center.

Brescia, Iseo and Corte Franca, December 11, 2025 – Knight Giuseppe Scolaro procured a significant quantity of basic foodstuffs and personal and household hygiene products: sugar, oil, milk, tuna, tomato purée, soaps, detergents, and many other items. The acquisition of these goods was made possible thanks to a charity event, now in its sixth edition, promoted and organized by Knight Scolaro, which again this year met with great success and appreciation. Don Simone Ziliani, parish priest of Corte Franca, and Don Francesco Zaniboni, parish priest of Iseo, expressed deep appreciation for the charitable work carried out by the Constantinian Order, which will assist families, the elderly, and those in need.
